Creation in progress "LAND IN FREEDOM"

Land in Freedom is a solo theater performance in unconventional spaces that explores the search for identity through the metaphor of land and roots. Is there a land for me? What happens when you don’t belong anywhere? This work arises from the tension between the desire to put down roots and the discovery of a nomadic condition, which questions both inherited culture and the systems that define belonging and expulsion.

Land in Freedom is a theatrical journey where the root is not always in the ground: sometimes it is free, multifaceted, broken, invisible, sprouting unexpectedly, as if it could be born anywhere. Territory appears as something unstable, fractured by migration, capitalism, borders, rituals, gentrification, and the forced displacements that mark our present.

The work seeks to engage with myths, anthems, and archetypes that have constructed our collective memory: from the echo of the “promised land” to the colonial contradictions that remind us that no discourse on belonging is neutral. But it does so from a perspective that does not give up: from the possibility of resisting, redefining, rediscovering oneself, sowing the seeds of the future.

WATER SILHOUETTES

A traveling street theater piece, Silhouettes of Water takes a multidisciplinary approach, drawing from performing arts, street arts, and performance art. It explores different situations and sensory experiences related to the most essential element of life: water. In a dystopian context, four water seekers invite us to reflect, through poetic language, on how water is treated as a commodity. Through a visual language that blends fiction and testimonies, it takes the viewer on a participatory, critical, and profoundly sensory journey, with scenes that are both symbolic and evocative.
