(I)LIMITING: Undisciplined Practices on Straight Lines - March 2022

2022

On any given day, in any given city, the (I)limiters are found performing obsessive tasks related to the order and rules of public spaces. Through contact with new passersby, they gradually decide to subvert the meaning of their routine actions, transforming them into poetic games that turn hostile architecture into spaces of coexistence and encounter, of respect among living beings.

The (I)limiters invite us to move from the individual to the collective, from private property to community within the same city.

The simplicity established between restrictive objects and everyday bodily codes encourages us to glimpse that, despite our differences, we are all sharing the same territory.

Creation resulting from the street arts workshop at Forn del Teatre Pa Tothom.
